That’s right! I’m turning 32 on May 19th, so I appreciate any birthday wishes! 🙂 I’ll be super busy that week because I’m traveling to visit family AND for a work conference, so we’re going out to eat the following week. I mentioned wanting to experience omakase dining, so that’s what we’re gonna do. 🍣

April Summary
I’ll be honest, at this point, I don’t really remember what’s happened this month. 😆 Here’s a few things I can remember:
A close relative was in and out of the hospital, so we spent many evenings hanging out in their room.
One of my besties had a fun birthday party in Austin, where we got to make face scrub from scratch. And I made a new friend there!
My mom came to visit, so we spent some time together before she moves to the area again. She just graduated law school, so yay for her!
Plans for May
Hopefully, I can officially finish When Late Flowers Bloom! I can see the end of the book as I’m finishing up a lot of the ongoing conflict stuff and will wrap up the end. This story idea came to me in 2016, so it’s a bit cathartic to finally put an end on it. I hope you all enjoy it.
Here’s the typography I’ve put together for it already. 🙂 I still need to submit character details to my illustrator so she can get started soon. Right now, she’s working on the Off the Grid cover, so I’ll be announcing that one and Over the Line in the next newsletter!
I’m also hoping to get my website finalized, so I can have an official website again. I’m talking with a local freelance graphic designer, and I hope to get that up and going ASAP. Website design is hard. 😭 Once that’s finished, I can start selling books from there and providing an opportunity for signed copies!

I can’t think of any other updates, so I think that’s it. Thank you for following my process. I know there hasn’t been a release in a while, but I’m working on a lot behind the scenes so I can shift into the next level as an author! There just needs to be a lot of set up first before that can happen.
